Backups and moving to a new phone

Your records live only on your device, so keep a backup. Go to More → Backup & restore → Make a backup, choose a password, and save the file somewhere safe, such as iCloud Drive. On a new iPhone or iPad, install Firearmory and choose Restore from a backup file. Keep your backup password: without it the file can't be opened, by anyone, including us.

Face ID and locking

Firearmory locks with Face ID or your passcode when you open it, and again after the delay you choose in Settings. Revealing a serial number or exporting serials asks again.

Reminders aren't arriving

Open More → Reminders. If it says iOS is blocking notifications, tap Allow notifications, or turn them on in the iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Firearmory.

The shot timer misses shots

Phone timers are approximate. Keep the phone near you and away from other shooters, and watch the sound meter: if your shots don't cross the line, choose a higher sensitivity; if it counts echoes, choose a lower one.

Firearmory Pro

The free version covers up to 5 firearms and 10 accessories, plus ammo, range trips, maintenance, locations, reminders and backups. Pro unlocks everything else:

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Manage or cancel them in the iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Bought Pro before? Use Restore purchases on the Pro screen. Backups, restore and erasing your data are always free.
